In this edition of the From the Desk series, we're taking a look at our Sr. Product Designer's Appointed essentials and how he uses them day-to-day:
Technical Requirements
As the Product Designer for Appointed, I spend most of my time hopping from subject to subject—searching for scraps of paper to jot down a quick thought or specification, taking measurements, and thoroughly noting my more permanent project tasks and requirements.
My Memo Pad Set helps me capture the ephemera of my day without cluttering up my Office Notepad, which holds longer-term and more concrete tasks and project requirements. Lastly, I always keep my Brass Pocket Ruler close at hand to collect measurements for said projects (and also serves as a handy straight edge in a pinch).
"I spend most of time hopping from subject to subject."

Top Picks
- For more concrete tasks, thoughts, and projects I use the Office Notepad in Charcoal Gray.
- For precise measurements and perfect straight edges, I rely on my trusty Brass Pocket Ruler.
- For quick to-dos, sketches, and ideas on the fly, I'm never far from my Memo Pad Set.
