Operations

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Appointed Wholesale channel by supporting the full cycle of wholesale orders including liaising with customers, entering orders, processing payment, packaging and shipping, and general administrative support to grow the program.
  • Ensure prompt and professional customer service to all wholesale customers. Respond to customer inquiries via email and Faire Message in a timely and friendly manner, using Appointed’s established brand voice and policies.
  • Assist customers with order-related issues, including but not limited to: order changes, shipping delays, and general product inquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with the B2B, Production, and Fulfillment team to enhance customer’s full experience; from ordering process to receiving the products.
  • Assist with reporting, list management and other administrative duties.

  • E-Commerce: Support day-to-day operations including but not limited to: review and coordinate product listings, product photography and drafting product and website copy. Assist with the planning, scheduling, and promotion of sales events to increase revenue. Coordinate e-commerce and promotion calendar. Assist with monitoring website to ensure best-in-class UX, up-to-date merchandising, and implementation of new programs. Assist with monitoring website analytics, program and promotion performance.
  • Order Coordination: Work with E-Commerce team to enhance customer’s full experience—from ordering online to receiving and using our product. Manage oder-related issues including order changes, cancellations, refunds, and transit issues. Process all local pick-up orders and returns daily.
  • Customer Experience: Represent and oversee all customer relations including: email inquiries, live chats, phone calls, social media DM’s and comments, and in-person shopping in a friendly and timely manner, using Appointed’s established brand voice. Track all customer feedback and product suggestions for consideration. Respond to all negative product reviews and blog and social comments.
  • Fulfillment: Work with fulfillment team to ensure e-commerce orders are fulfilled correctly and in a timely manner. Assist fulfillment team by packing e-commerce orders and processing labels, as-needed.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate and work with key internal stakeholders including production, marketing, and e-commerce teams.

Marketing

  • Digital Marketing: Develop and coordinate day-to-day marketing strategy to amplify D2C initiatives, promotions, product launches, and promotions.
  • Segmentation: Create profiles for each of Appointed’s key customer groups and provide D2C Sr. Manager and CEO with recommendations on how to better connect with each group, with examples of how other brands are connecting with lookalike groups and conduct A/B testing.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Work with the e-commerce team to develop marketing strategies and a campaign calendar to ensure sales of each product and each product category align with goals and forecasts. Help schedule and deploy campaign assets. Measure and report on performance of marketing campaigns to ensure objectives are being met.
  • Advertising: Maintain Facebook Business Manager, Google Merchant and Shopping, and develop audience profiles based on customer segments. Manage relationships with any advertising partners and keep them honest by comparing their reports to your own.
  • Social Media: Coordinate day-to-day social media activity including Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and brand ambassadors.
  • Press and partnerships: Field incoming press and partnership inquiries and work with relevant teams to execute press mentions and partnerships.
  • Reporting: Create sales and marketing reports on a monthly basis and for each key campaign—highlighting key takeaways such as profitability, audience engagement, etc. Report, recommend, and iterate on campaigns to drive increased ROI.

Production

  • Supports the production team by assembling, packaging and quality control of Appointed products.
  • Participates in product inventory and quality control to assure the highest quality product is produced.
  • Operates some light machinery as a part of the product production.
  • Assists with picking and packaging orders for shipment.
  • Provides general warehouse support including organizing, maintaining workspaces and assisting with efficient and organized workflow.
