As an American-made brand, we're hands-on through every step of the production process. You can count on the finest quality, responsible sourcing, and products made to last.

Our paper is made with 2/3 renewable energy, more than half of which is made on-site with renewable biomass and zero-emission hydroelectric. Plus, it's acid and chlorine-free, meaning it's friendlier to our waterways.

Our water-resistant cotton bookcloth is also American-made, meaning it has a lower shipping impact and is compliant with the latest EPA standards and guidelines. The majority is 100% cotton and completely biodegradable, odor-free, and pH neutral.

Our packaging features biodegradable, renewable, and 100% curbside-recyclable materials—meaning no more bubble wrap. Plus, we've eliminated single-use plastic where we can.

Kickstarting Our Journey

Our founder, Suann, set out to design the perfect, American-made Notebook. One wildly successful kickstarter campaign later, and Appointed was born.

Giving Back

A New Chapter

We moved our manufacturing and fulfillment out of Washington, D.C. to a new facility in New York state, allowing us to expand our manufacturing capabilities and bring more quality paper goods to even more people.
