Appointed Gives Back
Each Appointed Gives Back product is proudly made in Washington, D.C. and supports carefully selected organizations doing important and timely work.
Your Purchase Makes A Difference
As an AAPI, female-founded company, we support social change. Our very first D.C. Workbook was created in 2016 as a way to give back to our local community, and the program has expanded year after year to include limited-edition notebooks, workbooks, journals, and notepads—each benefiting a unique organization striving to make a difference in our own backyards.
Our ongoing initiative is to work alongside non-profits using our unique skillset, in order to tangibly support a variety of efforts that empower, improve, and transform the world around us.
Notepad For Peace
100% of sales from the Notepad for Peace support World Central Kitchen in their efforts to provide hot, nourishing meals to Ukrainian families. This product was created in response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and our desire to support organizations working on the ground to help.
D.C. WORKBOOK
Net proceeds of this journal support Live It Learn It, a local non-profit that provides carefully-crafted experiential learning units to students in D.C.’s traditionally under-resourced communities.
JOURNAL FOR CHANGE
A journal may not be as large as a billboard or as loud as a megaphone, but its pages place no limits on the boldness of the ideas within. 100% of the proceeds from this Journal support BEAM, The Loveland Foundation and The Conscious Kid.
DISTRICT NOTEPAD
Net sales of this Notepad support Kids Connection Haiti—a D.C. non-profit that empowers orphaned young adults to build a brighter future for Haiti through education, life skills training, community service, mentorship, and career development.
We've proudly partnered with local and international non-profits including:
