From the Desk Of: Lauren, Appointed E-Commerce Coordinator
In this edition of the From the Desk series, we're taking a look at our E-Commerce Coordinator's Appointed essentials and how she uses them day-to-day. Lauren juggles website updates, product listings, and customer communications so she needs a desktop that is clutter-free with room to spread out and prioritize her to-dos.
Not a Planner Person
You might assume everyone at Appointed are tied to their dated planners but that’s not the case for Lauren. She actually prefers using the undated Weekly Task Pad to keep track of her tasks and reminder but it stays on her desk.
“I love the freedom of the Weekly Task Pad. For times when I’m on vacation or have less going on, I don’t feel like I need to fill up every day. I can use it as much or as little as I need.”
Grid Go-Getter
One thing Lauren can’t live without is The Notebook. She’s been a fan for years and it’s actually what first brought Appointed into her life. (Shout out to stockist Salt & Sundry for introducing Appointed to Lauren!) Lauren prefers a grid interior and especially likes that the pages are one-sided.
“I prefer the grid interior because I can write horizontally or vertically. Sometimes I am sketching, other times I am taking notes. The grid gives me that flexibility and also helps me have better handwriting, something I have always struggled with!”
Color Coding is Key
Lauren likes to write her notes with a Horizon Ballpoint Pen and then relies on the Mildliner Highlighter to color code her notes (she suggests Coral Pink, Baby Pink, and Dark Blue).
“I take all my notes in my notebook and then after each meeting I color code my notes by priority and project area. I then transfer over my action items from my notes onto my Weekly Task Pad.”
Beautiful Tools for Outside of Work, Too
Using the Habit Tracker as a way to build not just good habits but hold herself accountable has been helpful at home.
“My husband and I share a Habit Tracker so we can support each other and watch our progress together. He is a night owl so he likes to track sleeping habits and I want to get back into reading regularly so I am tracking my minutes read.”

This story started the day I fell in love with Appointed’s signature Year Task Planner.
