2022 Year in Review—A Letter From Our Founder
As we close out 2022, I'd like to take some time to reflect on all we've accomplished this year. I am so proud of our hardworking team and immensely grateful to the customers and retailers who support our brand year after year. Here are a few of the most noteworthy moments from Appointed's 2022:
Mineral Green
For only the second time in seven years, we added a brand new color, Mineral Green, to our permanent collection. Developing a new signature shade involves careful deliberation to produce a color that is not only timeless but works effortlessly with our current collection. Your response to Mineral Green exceeded our expectations—we are so glad you love it as much as we do.
Anthropologie Collaboration
Our first-of-its-kind collaboration with Anthropologie featured bold colors, artfully-inspired forms, and thoughtful details. We had so much fun creating these two exclusive, limited-edition collections for the Anthropologie customer.
Feature in Martha Stewart
Amidst many glowing press mentions this year, we were particularly fortunate to be included in Martha Stewart's Self-Made column. As a long-time fan of Martha Stewart and her brands, this was certainly an honor.
Appointed Post
We launched Appointed with a signature, perfected product—The Notebook. Over the last seven years, our customers have been avid and loyal users of this stationery classic. So, this year we were thrilled to launch Appointed Post—a subscription program that makes getting your notebook as seamless—and flexible—as possible.
Appointed District Shop's First Birthday
We celebrated our first full year in our expanded HQ and our flagship store, the Appointed District Shop. It has been wonderful to see our local customers in person this past year.
Looking Ahead at 2023….
After a year of growth, change and learning, we are eager to focus on what we do best. In the year to come we're looking forward to expanding manufacturing capabilities, allowing us to improve and fine-tune our processes.
We are also excited about new formats and products in the works. 2022 gave us an in-depth look at how and why you use Appointed products. In 2023 we're releasing new products to inspire new habits, track meaningful moments, and continue to make the most of your day.
