From the Desk Of: Sarah, Appointed Product Planner
In this edition of the From the Desk series, we're taking a look at another team-member's Appointed essentials, and how they keep her on track with her goals. Meet Sarah, our Assistant Manager of Product Planning. Read on for the everyday products she can't live without—from classic paper goods to new and improved time-management tools.
Big-Picture Planning
“Every morning when I get to work I reference my priorities, tasks, and schedule in my Year Task Planner, and then create a day-of to do list on my To Do Pad. I also keep the page from the previous work day handy and will transfer over any tasks left undone.
Since a big part of my job is forward-planning for procurement and product launches, I am constantly flipping ahead in my planner and adding tasks and priorities down the line so that I’ll have them ready and can track my progress towards goals as I start each week. My Mark’style Ballpoint Pen always stays in my bag—I love the fine tip and hexagonal body for a nice grip.

Organization On the Go
I tend to move around our studio a lot—getting up from my desk to confirm an inventory count, checking on production or delivery status, and communicating between teams. My Pocket Notepad is an easy way to take notes on the go. I can record highlights from brief conversations or navigate my way through our shelves of products quickly, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space on my desk.
At-Home Habit Tracking
My Habit Tracker and Activity & Habit Log both live at home, with my Habit Tracker staying on the kitchen countertop for easy access. I am a big proponent of setting goals for personal growth, and I track all kinds of things—drinking water, tv-free days, and daily reading goals. I make a pit stop each morning and evening and use my Mildliner Highlighter to update my goals, color coding for different categories.”
