Suann here, founder and CEO of Appointed, with some exciting news. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes on this next step for our brand, and want to share all the details with you—our community.
This February, we’re moving our production manufacturing and fulfillment out of Washington, D.C. to a new facility in New York state. Though we’ve been so proud to have our design studio, offices, retail space, and manufacturing all under one roof in Washington, D.C., it’s become obvious to us that we need to expand our production capabilities to meet the demands of our growth.
This was a decision we did not take lightly—Washington, D.C. has been an integral part of our brand. As we look at the next phase of Appointed, we are taking this opportunity to expand our production and fulfillment operation. We’re so excited to partner with an existing vendor to make these larger capabilities possible. This move will allow us to not only keep your favorites in stock more consistently, but also bring you exciting new formats of some of our best-selling notebooks, planners, and more.
What It Means
Your favorites in stock more consistently. Expanding our production will mean that best-sellers like lined Notebooks and dated Planners aren’t frequently sold out.
New releases—look out for fan favorites in more colors and interiors, plus all-new planner formats, hardcover journals, calendars and so much more.
The same quality and values you know and love—there will be no changes to our materials or production practices. You can always expect the highest quality paper and bookcloth, and we’ll always be proudly American-made.
