We are thrilled to be opening Appointed’s flagship store—the Appointed District Shop. In expanding our Ivy City headquarters to allow more room for our growing team, we were able to carve out the perfect 300 square foot, light-filled corner space for our first ever retail experience. Every visitor will be able to get a glimpse of our operations while shopping our full collection, including top-selling notebooks and planners.
The Appointed District Shop has been almost a year in the making. In early 2021, our team began to contemplate and design every aspect of the flagship experience—our goal being to maximize this small space, creating something truly beautiful. Inside, you'll find a classic color palette and warm textures, mirroring the Appointed aesthetic the moment you walk through the door. We were extremely fortunate to work with a very talented team—Stuckey Design Studio and Fajen Brown who both brought our vision to life with beautiful design and craftsmanship.
We've also set out to create an immersive experience of the Appointed brand. Our products are proudly manufactured in our Ivy City headquarters, and we're highlighting this facet of our brand with the Notebook Barâ„¢, where customers can order a tailor-made Notebook on-demand, and discover how they're made right here in our studio.
The Appointed District Shop features our favorite tools to pair with Appointed products, including desktop accessories, stationery, exclusive collaborations, and Appointed merchandise. And because we love meeting you IRL, the shop will also be hosting special events, workshops, meetups, and more.
